And week one's results are in. Little drumroll please...
Amanda and I have a sheet of paper on a clip-board with our measurements on it. Once a week we measure and weigh (after a good morning crap, of course, haha!). This is the second Thursday morning weigh-in. The first was our starting point, because we want to be able to have actual documented results. Just because we are curious nerds like that!
One week, and through Day 6 of Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred, and my results are nothing to complain about! Actually, they make me happy!!
I gained some 0.5 to 1 inches in areas like my calves, thighs, butt and upper arms. That makes perfects sense! Hello! Building muscle here! Although, I must say that I was hoping my thighs (which are already hella-strong) would get slightly smaller while becoming more toned. However, I actually LOVE having thunder thighs. My mother had them and that is what first attracted my father. Besides, it is nice to know I can squeeze a man to death with them if I need to! =) But ASS, please get smaller not bigger. I am going to attribute the little extra by you just being perkier (or that I measured in a slightly different spot).
Some places stayed the same. My neck, wrists, and bust. I know it is funny to measure the first two, but it is kind of fun to have something to be all OCD over... Ex. You're having a bad day but you lost 1cm in your wrists! Yay! Now that bracelet fits! Haha!. In all honesty, though, I don't expect them to change. My wrists are already pretty small because I have a small bone structure despite my height.
And some places... the places that really count... I lost!!!... INCHES!!!
The morning after Day 6 and I am down TWO INCHES ON MY WAIST and ONE INCH ON MY HANDLES*!!!
*Handles is that area around the love handles that transects about where the bellybutton is. Basically, that problem area over the pants that Amanda and I want to see go away. I guess we could also call it "stomach", haha!
SUPER SUCCEED!!!

Good good. It all went very well considering that I was on a huge energy low. I should've eaten better yesterday, but oh well. It got done. Cheers!
